Both named Joy (played by Varun Sharma), they grow up as the brothers/sidekicks to the respective Roys.

Both named Roy (played by Ranveer Singh), one grows up to run a circus while the other lives a quiet life. One Roy has a unique superpower—he is "electrified" and can handle high-voltage currents without getting hurt.

The chaos begins years later when the Bangalore-based Roy and Joy visit Ooty, where the local Roy and Joy are already famous for their "Cirkus." Because the sets of twins look identical, the townspeople, shopkeepers, and even their respective wives and girlfriends (played by Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde) mistake one set for the other. Key Story Elements:

The story follows a social experiment conducted by Dr. Roy Jamnadas, who believes that upbringing is more important than bloodline. He separates two sets of identical twins at an orphanage and gives one of each to two different families: one in and the other in Bangalore .

In classic farce style, the characters find themselves in debt, accused of cheating, or caught in romantic scandals because of their doppelgängers.

Much of the physical comedy comes from the "Electric" Roy's ability to shock people, which causes painful confusion for his twin who doesn't have the same power.
