Mamuny -
(singular: Mamuna ) are fearsome female swamp demons originating from ancient Slavic folklore and mythology. Closely related to the Boginki or Dziwozona , they are most famous for being the original "boogeymen" who kidnapped newborn human babies and replaced them with monstrous changelings.
