The town mayor, Boodle, wakes up to find the town saved. Despite the Straw Hats being heroes, the townspeople mistakenly blame them for the destruction. The crew flees to the pier, but not before Luffy leaves behind a stash of treasure for the town's repairs, much to Nami's frustration.

During the fight, Buggy attempts to reassemble his severed body parts. However, Nami intervenes by tying up most of his parts with a rope, leaving Buggy in a tiny, vulnerable state. Luffy finishes him off with a Gomu Gomu no Bazooka , blasting the clown pirate off the island. One Piece (Dub) Episode 8
